Self-Made Comics: WCG’s “Golden Age” (1972-77)

Before WCG entered the direct-sales market, we were the “War Comics Group” — self-made comics done for my junior high school classmates. The flagship character for the series was “Sgt. Hanes and Hell Platoon” — not Rob Hanes, but Sgt. Jim Hanes, a precursor (and perhaps distant relative) of Rob. Below is a complete checklist of this run…
